Stress free horsemanship Tm is a system of training that is fun, relaxing, and successful for both the horse and the rider. We use  proven training techniques developed by me that are safe, comfortable and enjoyable for horse and rider. This  allows a horse to reach its full potential. We believe in training the whole horse. This training allows horses to perform with a relaxed disposition, We feel horses that are healthy and relaxed will train better and be more successful in the show ring. Whether a horse works cattle, trail rides, competes with obstacles or is simply a pleasure horse, it will perform at their very best, because they feel their very best.

The Western style moves a horse makes can be just a bit different from the moves taught in English style trained horses. A Western competitive horse is often taught to do a roll-back, and also long-side reining. It is also trained to neck-rein, which means that the horse will move to the right or left depending n which side of the neck the rider applies pressure with the reins. Training is specialized to the individual horse and rider based upon experience.  Please call for pricing. or send email to training@pinevalleyacres.com

We offer several different training options: -Weanling and yearlings: halter breaking, leading, lunging, standing tied, & ground manners. -Two Year Olds +: Concentrating on starting them under saddle, standing while being saddled, standing while being mounted, & beginning forward movements. -Advanced training: Included is refining the walk, jog, lope, backing & stopping. Once this is taught, your horse can begin the final stages of discipline training.

A great many of the horses that I work with have been sent to me for retraining in problem areas. They have been neglected by earlier trainers .  I assess the areas where training is lacking in a horse and backup the horse's training to a point where it is easy for the horse to grasp what it is being asked to do. Again, the trick is to let the horse think about what is being asked of it.  If it can't grasp something, go back to something simpler that it can do. We are very flexible and only take 8 horses at a time in training so the most attention can be put toward them
We offer training with the show pro industries mechanical cow and live cattle
