Stress free horsemanship is a system of training that is fun, relaxing, and successful for both the horse and the rider. We use classic, proven training techniques, in combination that allows a horse to reach its full potential. We believe in training the whole horse. This training allows horses to perform with a relaxed disposition, even without a bit or bridle! We feel horses that are at their optimum best, will train better and be more successful in the show ring. Whether a horse works cattle, trail rides, competes with obstacles or is simply a pleasure horse, it will perform at their very best, because they feel their very best.

The Western style moves a horse makes can be just a bit different from the moves taught in English style trained horses. A Western competitive horse is often taught to do a roll-back, and also long-side reining. It is also trained to neck-rein, which means that the horse will move to the right or left depending n which side of the neck the rider applies pressure with the reins. We offer several different training options: -Weanlings and yearlings: halter breaking, leading, lunging, standing tied, & ground manners. -Two Year Olds +: Concentrating on starting them under saddle, standing while being saddled, standing while being mounted, & beginning forward movements. -Advanced training: Included is refining the walk, jog, lope, backing & stopping. Once this is taught, your horse can begin the final stages of discipline training.

Horse transportation is available for both local and nationwide requests. Long distance trailering is quote price only.  Local trailering $20.00 flat rate/$2.00 per mile.  Multiple horse discounts available.  We are fully insured and bonded.  Last minute requests are honored, call us anytime to discuss our availability.   When shopping around for a horse carrier, please choose one carefully.  Take the time to do some research, and ask for references. Make sure they carry full insurance on their truck and trailer, as well as their cargo, i.e. your horse! Most carriers do not offer insurance on your horse.  Pine Valley Acres is fully insured and DOT registered.  Your horse is covered with us, plus we offer additional insurance to cover your horse above and beyond, regardless of what your horse is worth. Shipping can be a stressful time for your horse.  We plan on making it as stress free as possible. We, the owners, are doing the transports, and we commit ourselves to putting the horse’s concerns first. We are horse owners, and we have over 30 years experience dealing with horses.
